I grew up in Hamilton where I attended HCS and after spending several years away, chose to return with my husband to my hometown where we are raising our 4 children who currently span the elementary, middle, and high school levels. My mother is a retired Montessori teacher who had a school here in the village and my father is a contractor. I currently work as an interior designer for a local firm and enjoy fixing up our 1865 home when I get the time. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, singing with a local choir, and watercoloring.
My commitment to our school is personal and long-standing. After serving two years as a parent member of the elementary steering committee, I have spent the last three years on the Board of Education. During my tenure, I have helped shape district goals, manage budgets, and hire a new superintendent. I believe that informed leadership requires listening to all perspectives and making objective, data-informed decisions that prioritize student wellbeing and opportunity.
